Laptop Security

ialertu - basically, a car alarm for your laptop. It works with the remote that came free with your laptop. Oh, the software is also free, and it takes pictures of the thief with the iSight camera, and emails them to you if your laptop gets jacked.

Adeona - tracks the location of your laptop if it gets stolen. And unlike lojack for laptops, it's free, and there's no Big Brother company with complete access to your machine's hard drive contents. It will also mail you pictures of any rip-off artists.

Or if you're a technophobe, you can just buy the $12 laptop lock. If you want to keep your laptop, do all three.
